Adopt-a-Military Family

There is nothing more rewarding than helping a military family during the holiday season. To see children’s eyes light up at the sight of new toys as parents tear up, knowing that guardian angels have made their holiday less stressful, is a beautiful feeling. After a record setting year of helping over 60 families with more than 100 children last holiday season, we’re proud to announce the start of our Adopt-a-Military-Family program, once again. How does NEOPAT’s Adopt-a-Military-Family program work? NEOPAT identifies military families in need for the holidays and may assist them in two different ways. 1. A NEOPAT […]

The Hunt Family

Eric Hunt did two tours in Iraq—the first tour, from February to July of 2003. During this tour, Hunt was responsible for making sure all units had food, water, and ammo for the 1st Marine Division. His unit was convoyed from Kuwait across the border into Iraq and eventually made their way into Baghdad, where Hunt served during the riots and looting. From Baghdad, the unit was convoyed to Al Diwaniyah where Hunt was responsible for providing school supplies for the Iraqi children. Hunt’s second tour, from January to August of 2004 was when he became a part of the advance […]

Tempur-Pedic Honors the Davis and Haworth Families

haworth 2

Last week at the Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio, two of NEOPAT’s honorary military families, the Davis and Haworth’s, were honored by Tempur-Pedic. Each family was given a brand new mattress from Tempur-Pedic in honor of their campaign, #BeyondVeteransDay. #BeyondVeteransDay is an incredible campaign that calls to honor military families throughout the entire year, hence its name, “beyond Veteran’s Day.” Tempur-Pedic has partnered with Bridgestone and professional golfer, Hunter Mahan, to offer assistance to military families all over the country because not only do non-military families “sleep better at night” knowing our dedicated military heroes are fighting for our freedoms, […]

Our Support for Joint Color Guard Flags

It was our pleasure to donate a full set of the United States Armed Forces Joint Color Guard Flags along with poles, stands, and carrying cases. We donated one flag representing the United States of America and another flag representing each of the Armed Service Branches. Our local Northeast Ohio community holds hundreds of events each year, from parades, to funeral honors, to patriotic-themed events. All of these events frequently ask the military services to provide a Joint Color Guard, however, obtaining a full matching set of joint colors is often difficult as each military branch typically only has their […]

Event Recap: Cleveland Euro Car Cruise-In

It was another great showing at the annual Cleveland Euro Car Cruise-In at the Donauschwaben German-American Cultural Center in Olmsted Falls, Ohio! Here’s a recap of how the day went. We can’t thank you enough for your support! Set-up for the day started at 7:30 AM. The DJ began spinning nothing but “European” tunes at 9:00 AM (The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Who, etc.) as the cars began to roll in. By noon, the lot was packed with over 250 cars ranging from a late 60’s VW bus all “hippied” out, to a 2016 $900,000 Porsche 918 Spyder (the fastest car in […]

I was recently helped out financially by your generous organization. I would just like to thank you and express my sincere gratitude. With your help I was able to maintain a roof over my head and a vehicle to allow me to look and apply for work.  I just graduated with a degree in the field of Respiratory Therapy on May 14, 2015 and am so excited to start this new chapter in my life. Your help has made this transition a lot less stressful with a chance to achieve my end goal of being gainfully employed. Once again, please accept this letter of gratitude and feel free to contact me at any time for future volunteer work or upcoming events. I will forever be thankful for your generosity and compassion.
